December 2017 - Reston Virginia. Coming back from one of our local favorite spots for dinner, my wife was drawn by some mysterious force to a quiet corner of the Reston Town Center where she discovered an awesome dessert spot.

Edible Incredible Desserts has what can only be described as a plethora of perfection (that's right, we dragged out a fancy word to say "boatload" - we were that impressed). But seriously, there's a ridiculous amount of good stuff here to try out.

For our first visit (since we'd just come from dinner) we opted for some simple cupcakes - Mocha Chocolate for me and Butterscotch Caramel drizzled perfection for the Mrs. It was well worth it and we bet you'll enjoy it too. They also have Chocolate covered bacon. (check out the slide show photo of the jar of chocolate covered bacon as proof thereof, yummmm). Oh yeah, I'm serious.

We'd like to give a shout out to the Manager Elena Werkheiser and her minion Katy for their time when we came back to visit for this post and tell you a little about what we learned. Edible Incredible Desserts' trade appears to be largely the carry out crowd passing by at lunch on the way back into work, or those headed home after a hard day at the office.

They do have a couple of small tables for eat in visitors or someone looking for a tasting. Edible Incredible Desserts also offers 8 kinds of coffee and tea. And there's plenty of homemade candy and fudge for those who need a extra boost at work or on the way home.

They'll also take orders for custom baked goods including what looks to be just about any kind of wedding or special event cake. Their "home" bakery location (and shop) is just a few miles away in Sterling. You can rest assured that everything is fresh and delicious. We'll be going back regularly.
