Splendidfoods highlights our favorite home town places to eat, the restaurants and venues we enjoy getting together at with our family, friends, and (especially around the holidays) our co-workers.SplendidFoods.com celebrates the places we find ourselves in when we're looking for the comfort of our favorite foods... particularly those places local to us... the ones family, friends, and neighbors come to eat whether it's every day for a work lunch break, a weekend night "on the town," or for a special holiday meal. If you're looking for reviews about big chain restaurants you've come to the wrong place. If you want to bash a restaurant, ditto. You can check out yelp for those sorts of things. Positive and "up-lifting" works for us here.
For those that love to cook we'll be exploring recipes, ingredients, and techniques... while the food and health conscious will have a chance to check out our collection of tips and tricks from around the web. We also intend to start adding Chef biographies and list a few food related events from around the country and the world too!
